Geek Pride!
Sep. 19th, 2002 09:37 pmI spent four hours at Barnes and Noble yesterday. It was great. Books are my friends. There are too many to choose from and so little money for me to spend. I walked around for at least an hour, picking up things and then putting them back. I finally decided on Chrisopher Rice's A Density of Souls. Its really rather good so far.
I just spent $20 on Buffy and Lord of the Rings cards. If my mom finds out she'll kill me. She thinks I'm the biggest loser on the planet because I watch anime("You're watching cartoons?! At your age!"), collect comic books(manga actually), and am in love with the Harry Potter books. Thats okay. Its probably true. I am proud of my geekdom. It makes me who I am.
